A Little Longer Copy
An ad with more words than usual. A few blog articles. An article for a client brochure.
Examples of how I write when I have more room.
Wildlight is a new home community in Jacksonville, FL. One that has restaurants, retail and services right in the neighborhood—along with a location nicely nestled within nature.
Summers Corner, located in Summerville, SC, is a little pocket of special. When the community was still in the renderings-and-mounds-of-dirt stage, we couldn't sell homes yet. So we had to sell a feeling. That was easy, thanks to the developer's belief that a connection to nature and each other is more important than constant connectivity to technology. That new homes can still have character. And that every house should be within walking distance of a park. In other words, quality of life to the fullest. These little musings showed up in the form of blog posts on the community's website.
Sometimes a blog calls for a little sap (see above).
Sometimes it calls for a little sass (see below).
When a client wanted a brochure that felt more like a magazine for their home development in Charleston, I got to tap into my inner journalist and write articles that had nothing to do with floorplans and square feet—like this one about the specialness of the southern city.
